GEAR TESTS: AOI UWL-09 Pro Wide Angle Lens Underwater Review

The AOI UWL-09 Pro is one of the highest quality and sharpest wet-mount conversion optics for underwater wide angle imaging that you can buy. It pairs with any port that has 67mm threads making it fairly universal for pairing with mid-range zoom lenses on compact, mirrorless, and SLR cameras. By adding on the AOI Quick Release System bayonet mount it can be clicked on and off of the port with simple one-handed operation. Add a float collar to offset the negative buoyancy it carries (because of the weight of the optics) and you'll never even notice the weight of the lens underwater. I used this lens with the Olympus E-PL10 to achieve super sharp, zoomable, rectilinear video shots.
